Christmas at Aunt Mary's

The day after Christmas we had Christmas at Bradley's Aunt Mary's house. Once again, Ava got to meet new people and get passed around a lot.

Christmas At Mammaw Freeman's

Ava with Savannah

Ava got to meet tons of new relatives at Mammaw's house. Bradley wanted to bring along her new Bumbo chair to sit in, but I told him I didn't think we would need it because she would be passed around so much. I was right! She was such a good girl out at Mammaw's and I think she had a great time! Ava with Aunt Donna

Christmas morning at Grammy and Gramps' house

Santa came to see Ava at Grammy and Gramps house this year (and he also came to her TN house too). We had a great time with Ava opening gifts and seeing what Santa had brought!

First Solid Food

Last night Ava ate rice cereal for the first time. She sat in her high chair like a big girl. It was absolutely hilarious. I don't think she completely hated it because she never just spit the whole bite out. But you can see by her face that she finds it very confusing!

What a cutie!

4 month photos

My mom and I tried to get some good shots of Ava on her 4 month birthday, but she just wasn't feeling it. She was obsessed with staring at the polka dots on these little pajamas. They were so cute on her!

The last picture is of Ava in the jumper that Bradley and I got her for Christmas. We gave it to her early and she is loving it. She loves to stand up like a big girl and watch her Veggie Tales in this!

Trip to KY

Two weekends ago, we took a trip up to KY to pick up my mom so she could babysit Ava for the week (while Anne was in the hospital). While we were there, Ava's great-grandparents came over to see her. We just stayed for a couple of hours, but of course we took some pictures.

Rolling over...FINALLY!

Sorry, I have been such a bad blogger lately, but we have been very busy here. I have been to 3 Christmas parties over the last week and a half, Joe and Anne were both in the hospital with a bad virus so Bradley was working extra, and we have just had tons going on. We are also super excited about Christmas coming up!

The picture above is a cropped picture of Ava and Santa. The photographer gave us a cropped copy, but the CD had the whole picture and I just finally got the time to crop it down. I love the way he is looking at her in this one. I just wish she had smiled!

We finally got Ava pics framed and we have 1 out of 3 hanging right now. Isn't it beautiful! You should see it in person. It's just amazing!

A day before Ava's 4 month birthday (12/12), she finally rolled over! It really scared her because she went so fast. Her eyes got big and she stuck her lower lip out and just about cried. Needless to say since that night, she hasn't rolled over again. Here is a pic of her after it happened and I have been trying to get her to do it again on film ever since, no luck though!

The last picture is just Ava and Bradley hanging out this past weekend. She is in that phase where she wants to stand up all the time! She has also started growling. For some reason, she enjoys sounding like a doggie and she growls constantly. The other night she woke me up at 3 in the morning growling and it freaked me out! (I had just watched The exorcism of Emily Rose and 3 in the morning is the "devil's hour." Frightening! But it is pretty funny when she does it!

Meeting Santa

Christmas Season...

We took Ava on Saturday to DCHS's Breakfast with Santa. She didn't seem to mind Santa, but the picture they took was awful so we are going to take her to the mall this week to meet a different Santa. Here is a picture of Ava before we left for the breakfast.

Last night was the Newbern Christmas parade and Ava got to watch it. She was so bundled up that she looked like the kid from A Christmas Story. "I can't put my arms down!" She fell asleep about 3/4 into the parade and we took her inside and brought her back out when Santa came. He promised her that he would be back to see her.

These last 2 pictures were from tonight's photo shoot for our Christmas card. I will be working on that this week so we can get those cards into the mail.

Well, that's all for now. Hope you are all having a great holiday season! Love, Tiff
