Fourth of July

Fourth of July was a pretty low-key day around here. We started with a cookout at Pop's house (which was as delicious as always!). After lunch we enjoyed a nap and then headed outside for the kids to play. We did make it to the firework show in Dyersburg this year and Harrison was amazed at the fireworks. After the first one went off, he said, "It's like wonderland!" SO sweet!

As you can see from the pictures, Harrison was the photogenic child of the day.

Believe it or not, they both assured me that they were looking right at the camera.

Aunt Bo, do you think he is channeling Uncle Nick Knot in this picture?

I told him to pose for me and this is what I got. :)

I made this blueberry buckle with our fresh picked blueberries. DELICOUS!

Love this wink and get a look at Ava's face in the background. She looks serious about driving that coaster car!

Crazy eyes!

Sad News

We were very saddened to hear about the passing away of Dr. Cameron. Dr. Cameron delivered Harrison and was such a wonderful man.

When I was pregnant with Harrison he was recovering from a battle with cancer and had beat the odds. Last weekend he was water-skiing and suffered a massive stroke. His family kept his wishes and he was removed from life support. He passed away earlier this afternoon.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Cameron's family.
