Flashback Friday

Sorry to disappoint, but this week's Flashback Friday does not have pics of Ava. So if that's what you are looking for, stop right here! ;)

This week's Flashback goes back to April 24, 1998 when my Aunt Bo married her hubby, Mike. I was honored to be the maid of honor in this wedding (just like she was matron of honor in mine) and I love looking back at these photos.

So, here's to 10 years of marriage! Like we said, in these days, that's golden!

Happy Birthday, Mom! (aka, Grammy/Mammy)

Happy Birthday to my beautiful mother! I won't tell you how old she is, but she shouldn't look a day over 49... yet! I couldn't decide whether to post nice pictures or embarrass her a little, so I decided to be nice and post nice pictures. Bur don't worry, the big 5-0 is coming and with it will come the embarrassment. So, check back on April 24th in 1 year for some embarrassing stuff (and hopefully Ava will appreciate funny pictures by then)! Love you Mom! Hope you have a fantastic birthday!

Recent Photos by Nana

Here are some recent photos of Ava. These were taken by Nana. As you can see, Ava should not be left unattended with an ink pen! ;)

I call this, "Ava Hollywood."

Really Bummed about Idol...

I am so bummed that Carly got voted off tonight. Yeah, I thought she was a little fakey the way she would cover up her tattoos anytime it was performance night, but sport them on results night, but still, I enjoyed her. Guess I shouldn't complain too much since I didn't get off my tail and vote, but for goodness sake, who is still voting for Jason Castro?

Ava at the Ag Barn

Here are pictures from Ava's first visit to the Ag Barn at the High School. Ava loves animals and lately she has been just obsessed with them. She can make most animal sounds and loves watching cartoon animals and seeing animals when we are in the car.

Ava loved the goats, but didn't care so much for the pigs. The pigs were loud and would all take off running and squealing at the same time which scared her. She thought the goats were funny and petted a couple, she liked the puppies and cats too.

It was fun to see her watch them and hopefully we can make some more trips later this spring.
