Tooth Number 3

Ava's third (and first top) tooth fell out today. It fell out while she was at school with me and she was so excited! I've warned her many times that the tooth fairy doesn't come to dirty rooms. We'll see what happens....

Captain Eyebrows, Jr.

In looking through old photos, I have answered the age old question of where Captain Eyebrows originated.

We all know that Harrison has some pretty expressive eyebrows and they tend to have a mind of there own as evidenced in this picture:

So low and behold I have found this picture:

We now know that expressive eyebrows is apparently a genetic trait that was inherited from his father. :) Love them!

Happy Memorial Day

We hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day. We lazed around (well, Daddy worked) and then enjoyed a cookout with Pop. I grabbed the camera for a few shots of our day.

Mother's Day 2013

This year it seemed that Mother's Day just snuck up on me. Spring is such a BUSY, BUSY time that it feels like I barely get to take a breather. Then before I knew it, it was Mother's Day.

Bradley cooked me a breakfast before church and then it was off for a busy day. Ava sang at church with the ACTS group, we enjoyed lunch at the Chinese restaurant with Nana and Pop, out to buy new shoes for the kiddos, and then our bouts of stomach sickness started. :(

We didn't do near as many pictures as we normally do, but we did do a few.

Believe it our not, they both told me that they were looking at the camera!

Field Day 2013

 

Once again, Newbern Elementary did a fantastic job with Field Day. The kids had such a blast. We were lucky that this year it was a little bit cooler than last year, but I guess to the kids it doesn't really matter because they are soaking wet! Ava and Stormey were as inseparable as they usually are. So much fun to watch these two together. They have such a blast.
