Our Valentine's Day

It's been a long week. I actually had to work five days and I haven't done that since November! lol Plus we have been glued to the Olympics so not much has gotten done.

I wanted to share this year's Valentine's Day pictures that I have planned on sharing for the last week...

Bradley and I actually went out on Saturday night to have a date and dinner with no children, so on Sunday we spent the day enjoying Ava and Harrison. I decided to make a nice, candlelight dinner that even Ava could enjoy. We started off the day making some cupcakes and then finished the day with our beautiful candlelit dinner. Ava was so excited because everything was so fancy and we even had sparkling grape juice in our champagne flutes. She was also excited about eating in the candlelight (and turned down ceiling light) and thought we should do this every night. The food was delicious. I made Rachael Ray's Neapolitan Baked Ziti which is so fantastic! I am going to have to do that again sometime soon. After eating we let Ava open her gift and she was excited about that too.

All 4 of us in the dark dining room.

Ava declared that the movie, "Up," is a boys movie.

Th Fancy Nancy obsession continues...

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's day from the Rogers Family. We are going to spend our day crafting, making cupcakes, playing with glitter, and watching a new movie. There's nowhere that I would rather be than with these guys and Bradley. Hope you all are as blessed with love today as I am.
