Some random pics

Here are some pics of Ava from last week. These were taken by Ava's Nana (Anne). The picture where she is on her back with her tail stuck in the air is the way she sleeps at night. I lay her in bed and she immediately rolls over and sticks her little butt in the air. It is so cute!

Trying to get Ava to say Zoe

I was trying to get Ava to say Zoe in this video, but she ends up doing some cute yelling and saying Mama! So sweet.

Ava's new hangout

Ava has discovered a new place to hangout in our house. It is just the right size for her and she can see what is happening outside. It is the dining room windows. We have lifted the blinds so that she can pull up on the window and look outside. It entertains her for quite a while. Of course she loves watching the cars go by and one of the windows provides a view of the road so she can watch the cars. It is so cute watching her crawl over there, pull up, and look out the window. She is just fascinated by all the things she sees. Watching her discover things is just so neat, especially the little things that we take for granted.

Go see our little beauty

At www.koriburkhead.com . Kori has redone her slideshow at the beginning of her webpage. If you click on "Children and Families" an intro slideshow will come up. Turn up your speakers too and listen to the song that plays. Currently, Ava is 5th (wearing a bonnet) and 9th with her little bloomers on and booty in the air.

She is also in the portfolio. Click on Miracles. She is the second one (in the bonnet again, but a different pose) and also the 25th one. In the 25th one she is being held by Bradley and was a month old.

Ava's Boo-Boo

Here are some pictures of Ava's first really noticeable boo-boo. It's not even like it's a really bad one, but you would have thought she had broken a bone or something the way I acted. It just looked so swollen and bad at first. Now it's just a little scratch, healing nicely, and the scab has even come most of the way off. This girl heals fast!
I also included just some shots of Ava playing around in the floor. Enjoy!

Whew, what a busy week!

I am so glad that this past week was over. School is finally out for summer and after Monday, I will be out to. I have been so busy with tying up all the loose ends at school that I have not had time to load photos and blog. So, I am way behind. Here are some of the happenings of the last week:

On Monday (Memorial Day), we had a cookout here with two other couples and their children. We had a blast, Ava had fun playing with other kids and they taught her a few things such as... (But seriously, it was tons of fun!)

How to climb stairs.
How to turn the water on on the water dispenser.
To climb into Squiggles kennel.

2. Ava got her first real boo-boo on Monday. She fell and hit her head on the kitchen cabinets and gouged out a little place on her head.

3. Ava knows Zoe and calls her by name. She says, "O-E, O-E, O-E" as she chases her through the house.

4. Ava is saying Dada and Mama! YAY!

5. Bradley and I had a date (only the 2nd one since Ava was born!) We went to see Spiderman 3.

So as you can see we have been very busy. I am going to start trying to post the tons of pics I have taken this week so check back soon!
