Easter Egg Coloring

There's not much to tell about egg coloring this year. As you can see, it was full of ups and down. :) Harrison wanted to help, but in his destructive way. But in the end we had some interesting looking eggs!

Mother's Day Tea

I had the most fabulous time at Ava's school today. The Kindergarten classes hosted a Mother's Day tea. I will post more pictures later, but wanted to post these of my sweet, sweet girl.

Thanks, Daddy and Pop...

For fixing the sandbox. :)

School Egg Hunts

I guess since we are already almost a month past Easter, I should post some of those pictures! ;) I feel like I can not stay caught up anymore. But I am trying! :)
Ava and Harrison both had egg hunts at school/daycare. I was lucky enough to be able to be at both of them.
Ava's school egg hunt started early because of rain that was on its way, but I made it just in time. It was so funny to watch her. She was actually very selective about the eggs she picked up and instead of picking some up, she passed them for ones she wanted. She ended up with lots of girly eggs including 2 that looked like cupcakes (one pink and one purple). Those were the eggs she really wanted. I was so proud of her when a friend of hers was talking about how she wished she had a cupcake egg and Ava actually gave her one of hers. :) It made me so proud!
Harrison's egg hunt had to be inside because it was rainy. Harrison didn't care much for the eggs, he was there for the snacks. :) He did get a couple of eggs, but was more worried about his Rice Krispie treat!

Dinosaurs - Memphis Zoo

One of the main reasons we decided to go to the zoo was to see the new Dinosaurs exhibit which will only be at the zoo through the summer. This traveling exhibit features animatronic dinosaurs and this is right up Harrison's alley. :)
He loves all things dinosaur and we knew this would be a hit with him. Other than the "alligators", all Harrison wanted to see was the dinosaur. So we saved this for the very last thing. Sure enough, it was a big hit with both Harrison and Ava. Harrison liked all of the dinos, except for The Gigantosaurus. He was scared of that one. Ava didn't like the T-Rex because it was eating the Triceratops, but overall, it was a really neat thing to see. I enjoyed it and I know the kids both did!

This dino sprayed water and they loved it!
This was the one Harrison was scared of. :)
