11/365 - A Typical Sunday

Last Sunday we got up, got ready, and went to church. I took some pictures of Ava in the bathtub and dressed in her Sunday outfit. She looked so adorable in the little skirt and top that Bo and Mike got her for Christmas. I just had to share these pictures. You can really tell that she is growing up.

5/365 - Every princess needs a wand

What better way to start the day than by playing with a magic wand. Princess Ava loves dressing up as a princess or playing with crowns and wands.

4/365 - Alfalfa

I haven't been posting like I had hoped, but I have been taking pictures everyday. So far I have taken a picture (or been in a picture) every day of 2009. Some of them are so boring, but that is everyday life. It is not always exciting, but those are the memories and what our life is. I will try sharing my daily pictures as often as possible with the little stories or maybe even sentence that describes it.

On the 4th, I was having a pretty rough day. I remember not feeling very well and being swamped with having to go back to work. Bradley stepped up to the plate and gave Ava a bath. She came downstairs and was so excited to show Mommy what she and Daddy had done. The result? This silly little Alfalfa hairdo. It was so cute! She was cheesing it big time and I absolutely adore these pictures!

And I could just kick myself for this one because I think it would have been the sweetest one of the bunch!

Photo of the Day - 3/20

I don't know why she was making all of these silly faces, but she can keep herself occupied with a baby hat and a box.

After I cleaned up Ava's playroom I took a few pictures because she just looked so cute. I had pulled a chair from the parlor into the living room and Ava immediately went and got a book, curled up in the chair, and watched TV. It was adorable. Of course, right after I put my camera up, she decided she was hungry and spilled a brand new container of puffs out to eat. Silly girl!

Photos of the Day - 3/17 and 3/18

Yesterday was another beautiful spring day, so I guess you will just have to deal with some more outdoor pics of Ava. She was having fun playing with her new ball so I actually got some smiley faces even though the camera was out!

Today was a very dreary, windy day. We went to Jenna's house for a play date and then we headed to see the Easter Bunny. He was supposed to be at the mall from 4-7. However, when we got there at 6 since they had had no business, they were packing up to go. The guy said, "We've been here all day and haven't had anyone until now." All day? You've been here 2 stinkin' hours! What kind of business people expect any money when they close early! I was so freaking ticked off!!!! Ava was ready to see the Easter Bunny, and I really need to get my cards in the mail! Needless to say, I am about ready just to drive to Jackson because I am sure the bunny there doesn't close early and the pictures will be better anyway! So, if you are waiting on our Easter cards, Just wait a little while longer.

Ava is also so exhausted from the staling 'mamarazzi' that I stalked the cats today. Now just because you love to see pics of Ava, don't be 'cat-haters.' They need to be shown the love too! ;)

Do you know what she's doing? Staring at herself in the mirror. It's a morning ritual!

Photos of the Day 3/14 and 3/15, none for 3/16

Whew am I glad that is over! Talking about the huge consignment sale that I took things to on Friday. I posted a photo earlier of some of the stuff I had and on Friday I took it and dropped it off and hung around Union City for a few hours. The organizer told me that women started lining up early for the presale (which you qualify for if you are a consignor) so with nothing else to do, I headed over there an hour before the sale started. I figured I would just be a loser and sit in my car until some others showed up. Imagine my surprise when an hour before the sale there were already about 25 people ahead of me! By the time we had waited an hour, I swear there were 250 people in line. It was like waiting at a rock concert with a group of crazed moms! I swear, it was worse than Black Friday! Anyway, I grabbed what I needed and hurried on my way. Too much shoving and crowding for me. I did get some fantastic deals and Ava is all set with play clothes for this summer and pj's. She could still use more dresses and dressier outfits for anyone looking to buy her anything for Spring or Summer.

Ava ended up spending all day Friday with Nana who watched her while I was in a pinch. (Thanks Nana!) Saturday I just tried to recuperate from the stress of Thursday and Friday, but we had to go pick up what hadn't sold. I think I did relatively well with my items. I will find out Wednesday when I pick up my check. We ate dinner at Ryan's where Ava threw a fit for some cake. (stop laughing Mom) We finally got her out the door with a cookie in her hand and you would have thought we had starved her. She ate almost a slice of cake, but was taking forever (since she had to do it herself), so we bribed her out of there with a cookie and some tea.

Today I have not been feeling well and we have spent most of the day sleeping. Therefore there is no photo of the day for today. I am however posting Friday's and Saturday's. I will be back tomorrow with a special St. Patty's Day post! Have a great week!
