I am so lucky to wake up to this every morning...

"Good morning, sun, sun-shiny!" That is how Ava and I start everyday.

When I go into Ava's room to wake her up or get her out of bed, this is what I see. We are now in the stuffed animal stage and Ava will throw them out of bed and try to haul them downstairs with us. At the top of the stairs she will say, "Hold this, Mommy," and I just can't resist that sweet little voice and face. Sometimes she carries her animals by herself and sometimes she doesn't even bring them downstairs, but more often than not, some animal escapes to the downstairs and hangs out for the day.

Hollywood

Ever since Ava was very small, she has loved sunglasses. (That is after she got over the fear of them!) She has a pair and she is constantly stealing mine. So for as long as she can remember, anytime she would put a pair on, I would call her "Ava Hollywood." Just like, I am "Mommy Hollywood" and Daddy is "Daddy Hollywood" when we are are wearing sunglasses. It comes from the old movie,"Mannequin," where the character, Hollywood, is always wearing crazy glasses. It's from the 80's and stars Andrew McCarthy and Kim Cattrell. Love it to this day and just watched it a couple of weeks ago. Back to the point; anytime we are wearing sunglasses, I act silly and go on and on about Hollywood. So it was hilarious to me when I took some pictures of Ava in her sunglasses and when I showed them and asked her who they were, instead of saying, "Aba," she said, "Is Hollywood!" I died, it was so freaking adorable. And from there, we have seen a kid at Wal-Mart wearing sunglasses and Ava says, "Look! Hollywood!" I just love it and I think it is one of the sweetest things to hear. I love my little Hollywood!

My Heart is Broken

I just went into Ava's room where she and her Daddy are playing. It is her bedtime, but apparently they are having too much fun. She shoved me out the door saying, "Go," and then shut the door in my face. Where has my Mommy's Girl gone?

She's a helper

Here are some cute pics of Ava trying to help me out in the flower bed. She enjoys moving the pots around and playing in the dirt too. She spent a lot of time arranging all these different pots.
