Too big for the counter, Big Girl Bathtub now

Well, this week Ava began taking baths in her baby tub in the big bathtub. Since she has discovered her feet, she has also discovered a love of splashing and we could not keep this busybody on the kitchen counter any longer. Now she can splash all she wants to!
She does not like Mommy playing with her feet right now!
Happy once again now that she's found her thumb!

Loving her play yard.
Kicking her kick-n-play piano!

I came home on Moday night after working a ballgame at school to find this... Look how big she is!

Our Child - The Couch Potato! What has her interest? Veggie Tales. She loves them!

Oh wait, I do like green peas!

On Sunday night Ava tried green peas for the first time. As you can see, it was a rocky road at first, but now she inhales them! She is now eating a bowl of cereal and eating green peas at lunch and dinner. Hungry Girl!

SO here's what Ava was thinking that night: What are you doing putting this green stuff in my mouth?
Well, I may as well try it...
Oh yeah, I do like green peas, Ava I am!

Uncle Bradley, Auntie Tiffany, and Cousin Ava

We finally have a new member in our family. Our nephew (and Ava's cousin) was born on Jan 18, 2007 a little after 4 in the afternoon. His name is Trayton Louis. He weighed in at over 7 Lbs. and was 18 inches long. He has a head full of dark hair. Congrats to the proud parents and we can't wait to meet him.

Ava the Model

I was so excited the other day when I went to Kori Burkhead's photography site and looked at her portfolio. She has a new website design and guess who appears, not once, but TWICE! That's right, our Ava.

For those of you who never saw Kori's photos, she is just fantastic. I think she has the best children's portraits that I have ever seen. I call them artwork, because that is exactly what they are.

Here are directions for seeing Ava's pictures.

1. Go to www.koriburkhead.com

2. Click on Children and Families.

3. At the top of the page, click on portfolio. Then Miracles.

4. It will take a couple of seconds to load the slideshow but Ava is number 11 and 15.

How excited was I!
