3 more Ava movies

Here are the last 3 Ava movies that I will be posting for a little while. It takes so long to download a movie, but they are just too cute not to.

The first one better make you grandparents appreciate those plaster handprints because this is what we go through to get one.

This one is of Ava's 2nd 1st birthday cake. If that makes sense! It was on her actual birthday and one of her faves, Veggie Tales.

And this final one is just hilarious. You all know Ava's obsession with drawers and she loves taking Tupperware from the kitchen drawers and carrying it around. Her she is playing with a bowl. So funny!

Ava in the pool

Here ia a movie of Ava and Aunt Bethany playing while Ava's in the pool. Ava didn't like the pool at first, but she quickly warmed up to it!

Video from Ava's Birthday Party

Here is a video of everyone singing Happy Birthday to Ava at her birthday party.

Ava's actual birthday

August 13th was Ava's actual birthday. I didn't take very many pictures, but Bethany did. She is bringing her camera and memory cards on Labor Day for us to download so I will add more as soon as I get those downloaded. I was just so busy taking care of Ava and doing things that I didn't get many pictures. Bradley was bust with the camcorder so he couldn't take pictures.

Anyway, it was a great birthday. We started the day by going to Wal-Mart and having Ava's pictures made (which you already saw). After that, we headed to Union City to the McDonald's Playland which is not intended for children under 3. Since there were no other kids there, I decided to take Ava down the slide. Big mistake! Once you get so high up in there, you have to go down the slide. We were stuck in a tunnel and Ava started crying, and I was about to cry to. It was scary, but we made it down and Bethany caught it on camera. Like I said, I will post those after Labor Day.

After that, Bethany wanted to buy Ava a pool so we went to Wal-Mart got a pool and Ava went swimming. She cried at first and I had to get in (fully clothed) with her. She warmed up to it pretty quick and had a great time splashing around (and looking cute in her swimsuit!).

Nana, Pop, and Aunt Bethany came over for a supper of leftovers from Ava's big party, and then it was time for presents and cake. All in all, it was a fun, but tiring day. And now my baby has been 1 for a week! Man, time flies!

She later put this can in the toilet.
These 2 in front of the TV were taken at 5:36 PM exactly one year to the minute of Ava's birth. (That's why she is in front of the digital clock.)
