First Solid Food
Last night Ava ate rice cereal for the first time. She sat in her high chair like a big girl. It was absolutely hilarious. I don't think she completely hated it because she never just spit the whole bite out. But you can see by her face that she finds it very confusing!
4 month photos
My mom and I tried to get some good shots of Ava on her 4 month birthday, but she just wasn't feeling it. She was obsessed with staring at the polka dots on these little pajamas. They were so cute on her!
The last picture is of Ava in the jumper that Bradley and I got her for Christmas. We gave it to her early and she is loving it. She loves to stand up like a big girl and watch her Veggie Tales in this!

Trip to KY
Two weekends ago, we took a trip up to KY to pick up my mom so she could babysit Ava for the week (while Anne was in the hospital). While we were there, Ava's great-grandparents came over to see her. We just stayed for a couple of hours, but of course we took some pictures.
Ava with Poppy Weaver
Ava with Nanny Weaver
Ava with Uncle Nick (he came down to visit last Monday)
Rolling over...FINALLY!
Sorry, I have been such a bad blogger lately, but we have been very busy here. I have been to 3 Christmas parties over the last week and a half, Joe and Anne were both in the hospital with a bad virus so Bradley was working extra, and we have just had tons going on. We are also super excited about Christmas coming up!
The picture above is a cropped picture of Ava and Santa. The photographer gave us a cropped copy, but the CD had the whole picture and I just finally got the time to crop it down. I love the way he is looking at her in this one. I just wish she had smiled!
We finally got Ava pics framed and we have 1 out of 3 hanging right now. Isn't it beautiful! You should see it in person. It's just amazing!
A day before Ava's 4 month birthday (12/12), she finally rolled over! It really scared her because she went so fast. Her eyes got big and she stuck her lower lip out and just about cried. Needless to say since that night, she hasn't rolled over again. Here is a pic of her after it happened and I have been trying to get her to do it again on film ever since, no luck though!
The last picture is just Ava and Bradley hanging out this past weekend. She is in that phase where she wants to stand up all the time! She has also started growling. For some reason, she enjoys sounding like a doggie and she growls constantly. The other night she woke me up at 3 in the morning growling and it freaked me out! (I had just watched The exorcism of Emily Rose and 3 in the morning is the "devil's hour." Frightening! But it is pretty funny when she does it!
