A Girl and a Dog

Ava just loves dogs and cats. With Squiggles, Zoe, and Paisley, she is constantly watching the animals. So when we went up to KY last weekend, she just fell in love with Fred. She thought he was hilarious and of course we got a big kick out of her laughing at him. He also liked her and put on quite a show of howling for her. So cute!

Visiting Grammy and Gramps

Over the weekend, Bradley, Ava, and I went to KY for what should have been an afternoon visit. Needless to say, the weather got a little nasty so we stayed the night and left early Sunday morning. Here are some pics from the visit.

And in other Ava news, Ava has two teeth! One popped up on Saturday and the other one started coming in on Sunday. Boy, are they sharp! Now she is constantly doing what we call the "mush mouth face" and sticking her tongue out! The above picture is of, you guessed it, the Mush mouth Face.

Fruit Adventures with Ava

This past week, we have introduced fruit (or tried) into Ava's diet. We premeired with pears (not good) and then moved to applesauce (even worse!). But she has started drinking juice and loves the pear juice, but the jury is still out on the apple juice!

Happy now that it's over with and she can suck on her washcloth!

Ava's First Valentine's Day

Ava was a lucky girl this Valentine's Day. She got lots of goodies in the mail and lots of warm Valentine wishes. Thanks to these people who sent Ava special Valentine's.
