Tonight we painted Ava's ornaments that we made on Monday. As usual, Ava shied away from the wet mushy stuff. Boy can you tell from the pictures that she wasn't having fun! I guess she was having flashbacks from plaster hand prints because she was just not enjoying it. There were some that just barely got any paint at all. She was just in one of those moods tonight and it wasn't one of holiday spirit! Not sure what's next on our holiday countdown. Maybe we'll draw from our advent jar and surprise ourselves!
You guys are right, Ava was pooped out from all that shopping. She even napped again when we went into town to pick up Ava's portraits from Kori. Man, do they look great!
These pictures are so funny! I think you guys really tramatized her with all those plaster of paris hand prints you made her make! Here I've had visions of Ava and me finger painting sometime in the future, but now I'm not so sure that will ever happen! :) Maybe she'll change her mind as she gets older. But she's just so sweet, even if she IS apprehensive about the whole thing!
