Last Friday, I hit the big 3-0. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be and I didn't cry (well, not too much!). We had 3 days out of school last week, so it was a light work week for me (plus 3 days so far this week), so it wasn't too bad. Bradley took me out to eat, Mexican of course, while Joe and Anne watched Ava and Harrison. It was nice to be able to enjoy my meal, without distractions, and have some adult conversation. Of course Ava was so excited about the cake so when we got back to Joe and Anne's we had cake. Thanks to all for the gifts and cards. I appreciate all of them and thank you guys for making my birthday special!
I bet you guys didn't know I was so into barns and farm life. lol. This is the cake Bradley picked out for me this year.
I am only writing this because Tiffany didn't mention it in her writing about her birthday: Ava helped Tiffany blow out her candles, and when they were done, Tiffany asked Ava what she had wished for. WITHOUT ANY HESITATION WHATSOEVER, Ava said, "Chocolate"! The birthday cake was chocolate, so she got her wish, of course! :) If that was any indication, this little girl is going to be quite witty! (And I LOVE a quick wit!)
