We have had some crazy days here at our house lately. Soooooooooo many things going on. I will be back to regualr updating hopefully next week.

For now, I want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my sweet baby girl. Ava is 4 today! Happy Birthday!

Magic House - St. Louis - Part 1

The Magic House in an interactive children's museum in St. Louis. They have tons of hands on activities and lots of things to do. We were kind of rushed since we were stopping on the way home (and hadn't eaten lunch), but Ava had a blast. There were lots of things geared towards older kids so we will definitely have to go back one day. Harrison loved people watching and even played in the Baby Area of the museum.

Ava knows almost all of her ABC's. She enjoyed this little activity.

Ava and Harrison can run in the same year. She is ready. She how seriously she takes those phone calls.

Bradley can run in 2 years.

Harrison obviously doesn't care about public office...

Leaving Decatur - Family Trip 2010

We left Decatur on a Monday morning and decided to stop in St. Louis to visit the Magic House. Here we are heading out and into St. Louis.

Ava was bummed that she didn't get to go up into the Arch. Although I have doubts that she would have went up without hysterics.

"Nana and Pop are stull behind us!" - Ava gave us constant tabs on who was behind us.

Zoo - Part 2

Isn't it amazing how every time you go to the zoo you always take pictures of the same animals you see at every zoo? ;)

Scoville Zoo - Part 1

While up in Decatur we planned on taking Ava to the children's museum. It was just too hot to get out and go to the zoo. However, once we headed to the zoo it was only 80 degrees and a little overcast so we decided to try it out instead. It was a great "small town" zoo. There weren't a lot of animals to see or even a lot of walking, but it was nice in a small town kind of way. Ava enjoyed it and she loved seeing the animals and riding the train and carousel. So it was a hit and even though it got hotter as we were there, it was a nice little visit.

This was the first animal we saw. Look at Ava's face as she sees it...

These goats were crazy mad for food. I was almost mauled. They were kind of scary.

Bradley and Harrison were smart to stay on the outside.
