Day 4 – Magic Kingdom
We had a great day at the Magic Kingdom and were able to do almost everything we wanted to get done. We arrived at a little before noon because we had reservations at Tony’s (the Italian restaurant from Lady and the Tramp). When we got there we could tell that it was nowhere near as crowded as Monday had been. There were a lot of people, but it wasn’t overly crowded.
Right when we walked in we saw Daisy Duck and got in line. It seems like every time we see Donald Ava wants to know where Daisy is and a cast member told us she is hard to find. But we found her and got pictures with her.
Lunch at Tony’s was good, but this has been the only restaurant so far where I felt the service was very slow and just not up to par with other places. We all enjoy spaghetti and meatballs just like in the movie Lady and the Tramp.
After lunch we headed over to meet Pinocchio and then Ava wanted to ride the train. We rode to Toon Town and got off to check out the lines at the Disney Fairy tent. Another 90 minute wait to see the Disney Fairies. We refuse to wait that long so we skipped that area and went to Tomorrowland. We stayed there for quite a while and rode the Carousel of Progress, the Transit Authority (which Ava did not like), and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin (which Ava also did not like). We got to meet Buzz Lightyear (and Ava wanted to know where Woody was) and Stitch (Ava kept saying “Who’s that?” because none of us have seen the movie. By the end of our time here Ava wanted back in her stroller so you know she was pooped.
But with the promise of seeing Peter Pan she perked up. We headed to Adventureland and got in line for Captain Hook. Ava kept saying, “Where’s Mr. Smee?” And Hook was nice to her and even let her touch his hook. Then we got to see Peter Pan and the grin on Ava’s face was priceless. She was smitten! What trip to Adventureland is complete without a stop on Pirates of the Caribbean? Which Ava declared was scary. What is it about boat rides? Are they all scary? We also watched The Tiki Room and took a jungle boat cruise.
We were able to catch Mickey’s Dance Party and that was fun to sing and dance to. Ava was tickled because it meant getting to see Woody and Sebastian. She also liked Lumiere. We got out and danced a little, but Ava is still too little to get the gist of what was going on. She liked the music though and waving her hands and clapping.
One of my favorite places to eat is Pecos Bill’s so we enjoyed a quick dinner there before finishing our time up at the Magic Kingdom. We actually made it out before the huge crowd did. Two great days in a row!
By the time we got home to our resort Ava was passed out. She did wake up for a brief minute to see what our housekeeper had left us, smiled, and fell back asleep.

I love these pictures! Ava seems so happy the day in Magic Kingdom. Is it just me or does Peter Pan look like Zac Efron???? Sorry to hear Ava got sick. Glad you made it home safely!
