It is a tradition since Ava's first 4th of July. We always have to take the family's pictures in our Festive Wear. This is the first year that my parents got to experience the fun of donning the patriotic goodness and they were great participants. There is just something about getting decked out in this craziness and heading out where everyone can see you looking silly. I love it and look forward to it every year. This was the first year that Ava seriously prowled through all of the items and we did have a few casualties. I am now going to be on the lookout for some more, because if we continue to have a big crowd, we will need some more! (I am such a bad mother that I didn't get any pics of Ava in her festive wear. We had a dog adopt us for the day and Ava was so nasty and sweaty from playing that she didn't need to be on camera!)

We all had a great time at your house on Saturday. The "Lesters" really enjoyed their weekend visit and meeting all of you. And of course they think the kids are beautiful - like we didn't already know that! :-)
